For hill walkers, a small access road directly behind the property provides direct access to the hills and more spectacular routes in the high mountains can be accessed by a very short drive. The Sierra Nevada ski resort is extensive and modern with excellent access roads, an ultra-efficient gondola and one of the best sunshine records in the world. It also has a long season – generally opening in November and not closing until the end of April.
