For hill walkers, a small access road directly behind the property provides direct access to the hills and more spectacular routes in the high mountains can be accessed by a very short drive. A huge range of difficulty levels are available and the ski station provides an excellent base all year round.

Granada is home to a number of excellent golf courses and Silverfield Villa is in a prime location for access with both Santa Clara and Granada Club de Golf being less than 3 miles from the villa.
The Sierra Nevada ski resort is extensive and modern with excellent access roads, an ultra-efficient gondola and one of the best sunshine records in the world. It also has a long season – generally opening in November and not closing until the end of April.
Granada is one of the few places in the world where it is possible to ski/snowboard in the morning and sunbathe on the beach in the afternoon.
The city of Granada is less than 15 minutes from Silverfield Villa by car. As a former capital of Spain, the locations to visit are extensive and include Generalife - the summer residence of the Nazarid kings, El Albaycin – the world famous medieval district, Plaza Nueva – the cultural centre of Granada and of course the Alhambra itself – the royal palace of the Moorish kings of Spain.
Granada FC play in La Liga, meaning that some of the best clubs in the world visit to play including Real Madrid and Barcelona FC.
